What is IELTS?
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a certificate that verifies the English level of people who wish to work or study abroad. It was created by three renowned institutions: the British Council, Cambridge English Language Assessment and IDP. It is recognized by universities, companies and institutions in many countries around the world. It is also a prerequisite for emigrating to countries such as Canada, New Zealand or Australia.

academic
Ideal for pursuing higher education or professional registration in fields such as nursing, medicine, accounting, law or engineering. It focuses on academic subjects related to work and study.
General Training
Designed for people who want to work abroad, related to the work environment, migration or secondary education. Recommended for people migrating to Canada, New Zealand or Australia.
The differences between the two variants only appear in the Reading and Writing sections. The Speaking and Listening sections are identical for both IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training participants.
RESULTS
In the IELTS Test Score Report, you will find the overall score and the results obtained by the students in each section of the test.
The IELTS test score ranges from 0 to 9.
The individual scores for each of the four skills are evaluated equally, with a scale from 0 to 9.
To calculate the final score, the scores obtained in each section of the test are averaged on a scale of 0 to 9. It should be noted that the overall scores are rounded to the nearest whole or half point. If the average of the four skills ends in .25, it is rounded to the next half point; if it ends in .75, it is rounded to the next whole number.
Validity
The certificate is valid for 2 years, and the price is $227. Registration for the exam is done on this page and the results of the exam are available after 13 days. If you are not satisfied with the result, you can retake the exam as many times as you wish.
