On our journey of finding host families for our students we want to share with you the importance of being one. A host family is a family who opens the doors of their home and takes on the responsibility of looking after an exchange student. 

It’s a REAL experience where they contribute to fulfilling the dream of a student. Just like the song of Whitney Houston says, 

I believe the children are our future,

Teach them well and let them lead the way

We also believe our children are our future and with our host families guiding and nurturing them in their journey it makes it more memorable for both parties. Life is meant to be fun and by seeing the world, it shapes them into becoming wonderful human beings.

The experience has mutual benefits such as:

◾️an opportunity to experience an international perspective and learn about a new culture

◾️lifelong friendships! You can visit your exchange student/host family in their country

◾️eye-opening experience to see the similarities between cultures

◾️personal development as the students and the family grows by living with someone of another culture and ethnicity.

As an agency that sends students abroad every year, we know that hosting has its up and down; parenting is never easy! However, seeing the smile on the faces of our students when they come back to Spain is priceless. This motivates us to keep showing up for our students by finding them host families in a safe environment. 

To conclude, a host families are people who contribute and make a significant difference in the life of a student!
